Hello

My name is Richard Hackerd.  I moved to Cleveland in 1988 from Findlay Ohio where I grew up.  Go Trojans!

I graduated from Cleveland Marshall College of Law (now Cleveland State) and immediately began practicing law in downtown Cleveland.  While associating with various other attorneys, I have always remained independent in my practice.  This allows me to pursue the cases and issues that interest me most.

Today my practice consists of broad ranging fields from injury to defense and commercial bankruptcy.  Handling cases in multiple areas keeps me focused on the big picture and how your case fits in best.  As a generalist, I can answer your question in family law and know the implication of that answer in criminal, bankruptcy, business, or real property law.  Too often so-called specialists just don't understand the impact of a decision in one area on another.
